MANAGING HYGIENE AND CLEANLINESS
As part of the HACCP regulations and guidelines, hygiene and cleanliness are two major factors to consider when evaluating food safety. FoodSafe manages routine cleaning tasks for each venue by distributing venue specific tasks to complete throughout the day or at the beginning or end of day. Using the same functionality as a temperature check task, a staff member will work through the tasks listed in the system recording the timestamp, geolocation and user accountable for completing the task.
STEPS FOR COMPLETING ROUTINE HYGIENE AND CLEANING TASKS WITH FOODSAFE
- Connector.
Log in to the system using relevant Kitchen credentials
- Connector.
Select task and select “START”
- Connector.
Complete task by selecting “FINISH”
- Connector.
Sign off on task by entering your staff identification number after check/s have been completed
- Connector.
Continue through your daily checks for each task registered for the kitchen with time frames set
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
The data recorded from the checks is stored against the relevant tasks completed in the system with the time-stamp, Geo-location and user sign off recorded. In the Actions dashboard, Supervisors can review activity for the day in sections of Temperature checks and cleaning tasks. Under ‘Cleaning Tasks’ you can see which tasks have been completed successfully in green and the incomplete tasks in red.
